Amarillo Dusters Announce Transition to the National Arena League (NAL) and New Ownership

by Robert Reyna

Amarillo, TX — The Amarillo Dusters are excited to announce our official transition to the National Arena League (NAL) for the upcoming 2025 season. This move marks a significant step in our rebranding strategy as we continue to grow and enhance our presence in the arena football world. The NAL is renowned for its competitive play and commitment to the development of players, and we are thrilled to be part of this esteemed league.

In addition to this exciting league transition, we are proud to welcome Duane Bailey as a new minority owner of the Amarillo Dusters. Bailey brings a wealth of experience from both professional and collegiate athletics, having held key leadership roles in the Big East Conference, the Atlantic 10 Conference, and the National Football League. His deep understanding of sports management and his passion for arena football will be invaluable as we move forward.

"I am a passionate advocate for arena football and the unique opportunities it offers young athletes to advance their professional careers," said Bailey. "I am excited to join the Amarillo Dusters ownership group and contribute to the organization's success while supporting the growth of the NAL."

As we embark on this new chapter, we are committed to making the 2025 season our best yet. The Amarillo Dusters are poised for bigger and brighter things, and we look forward to delivering an exciting and dynamic experience for our fans and the Amarillo community.
